Are Banks Closed?
While the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has yet to announce its official list of holidays for 2025, it is anticipated that January 1st will be a holiday for the New Year. It’s advisable to check with your local bank branch for their specific holiday schedule.
Are Schools Closed?
In New Delhi and the northern states of Punjab and Haryana, schools will be on winter break from January 1 to 15, 2025. Schools in Jammu and Kashmir will remain closed until February 2025. Meanwhile, Rajasthan schools are closed until January 5, 2025.
Are Markets Closed?
