Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Opens Online Booking for Vaikunta Ekadasi Darshan 2025

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has officially launched online bookings for the much-awaited Vaikunta Ekadasi Darshan at the renowned Lord Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala. Scheduled from January 10 to 19, 2025, this sacred event is expected to draw lakhs of devotees eager to join the significant celebrations.

Vaikunta Ekadasi Darshan: Online Ticket Booking Information

Devotees can now conveniently book their tickets for the Vaikunta Dwara Darshan as the online booking commenced at 11 am on December 23, 2024. Moreover, Special Entry Darshan (SED) tickets became available online starting from 11 am today, December 24, 2024. Tickets can be secured through TTD’s official website, www.tirumala.org, allowing participants to partake in the sacred Vaikunta Dwaram, accessible throughout the ten-day event.

Slotted Sarva Darshan Tokens Distribution

In anticipation of the large influx of visitors, TTD will distribute Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) tokens at designated centres. These tokens, a necessity for entry, will be available at eight locations in Tirupati and one in Tirumala:

  • Tirupati: MR Palli, Jeevakona, Ramanaidu School, Ramachandra Pushkarini, Indira Maidan, Srinivasam, Vishnu Nivasam, Bhudevi Complex
  • Tirumala: Kaustubham Guesthouse

Entry for the Vaikunta Dwara Darshan is restricted to individuals with valid darshan tokens. While non-token holders can visit Tirumala, access to the darshan queue is not permitted.

Highlights of Vaikunta Ekadasi and Dwadasi

The celebration will commence on Vaikunta Ekadasi Day (January 10, 2025), with VIP protocol darshan beginning at 4:45 am. A resplendent Swarna Ratham (golden chariot) procession, featuring traditional music and vibrant decorations, is scheduled from 9 AM to 11 AM.

On Dwadasi Day (January 11, 2025), the revered Chakrasnanam ritual takes place at the Srivari Pushkarini (temple pond) between 5:30 am and 6:30 am, involving the sacred immersion of Lord Vishnu’s Sudarshana Chakra in holy waters.

Facilities for Pilgrims

TTD has arranged extensive facilities to manage and support the large number of pilgrims expected during the Vaikunta Ekadasi Darshan:

  • Free Food Distribution (Annadanam): Available from 6 AM to midnight, serving an assortment of items including tea, coffee, milk, upma, sugar pongali, and pongali.
  • Laddu Distribution: A buffer stock of 3.5 lakh laddus will be maintained to accommodate the high festival demand.
